Gynecomastia - chest procedures

Gynecomastia is condition caused by hormone imbalance or from overweight. This can increase level of oestrogen and cause breast tissue to grow on the male body – known as moobs. Men with this condition often seek this Male Breast reduction procedure that is tightening the breast area. Could be also after dramatic weight loss.

There are several techniques to reduce male breast

Recovery

It might take up to 8 weeks to recover from this procedure and you might need to take couple of days off work. Your surgeon will recommend wearing compression garment day and night for at least 6 weeks.


Abdominal procedures

Abdominal surgery are procedures that aim restoring the shape and skin of the abdomen area and can be either abdominoplasty or liposuction. 

Abdominoplasty

Abdominoplasty is removing of excess skin from the tummy that is difficult to lose through traditional weight loss or exercise. To remove the sagging skin.  

The procedure involves:

•           making incision across the lower tummy
•           separation of the skin from the abdominal wall
•           removing the excess fat and cutting the skin
•           in most cases formatting new belly button
•           stitching the cut and putting a garment on

Recovery

It might take around 6 weeks for recovery from abdominal procedures. You should wear a special type of post-operative compression garment or abdominal binder to encourage your skin to heal properly and reduce any swelling and thus minimising the potential risks. Your surgeon might recommend wearing compression garments for at least 3 months after the procedure. We recommend combining this with KPad abdominal cushion.

Face surgery for men

There is number of facial procedures such as Facelift (rhytidectomy), Cheek Augmentation (Cheek Enhancement), Buccal Fat Removal (Cheek Reduction), Facial Implants (Facial Balancing and Enhancing) and Ear Surgery (Otoplasty).

Facelift is procedure to lift and pull back the skin to make the face smoother and tighter to reduce the sagging skin around the lower half of the face.
Buccal Fat Removal – is removing buccal fat pad naturally occurring fat in the cheek hollows area to reduce the appearance of full or chubby face.
Cheek augmentation is procedure to add volume to the cheeks. This could be done either using implant or fat grafting/transfer (where a patient's own fat is used).
Ear surgery (otoplasty) is reshaping of the ears to create more natural shape while bringing balance and proportion to the face structure.
Recovery

It might take up to 4 weeks for recovery from face procedures. Your surgeon might advise the necessity of wearing post-operative facial compression garment or Ear band. To help with blood circulation to reduce any swelling and thus minimising the potential risks. Your surgeon might recommend you wear facial compression garments for at least 3 months after the procedure.
